Spicy-sweet tapenade perfect for bread or crackers, also great with cream cheese or as a pasta, potato, or rice toss.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups pimiento-stuffed green olives
  • 0.5 cup pitted black olives
  • 1 (6 ounce) jar marinated artichoke hearts, undrained
  • 2 hot banana peppers, seeded and cut into pieces
  • 1 red bell pepper, seeded and coarsely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons capers, drained and chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 0.25 cup olive oil
Instructions:
  • In a food processor or blender, pulse green olives, black olives, and artichoke hearts until spreadable. Transfer to a mixing bowl. Pulse banana peppers and red bell pepper until spreadable; fold into the olive mixture.
  • Blend garlic, capers, basil, lemon juice, and olive oil until well mixed. Store tapenade in fridge for up to 1 week.
