Indulge in a deconstructed Big Mac salad bursting with flavor - zesty dressing, croutons, seasoned beef, and melted American cheese.
Ingredients:
  • 1 head lettuce, torn
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 0.5 cup dill pickle slices
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 0.5 round loaf sourdough bread, cubed
  • 0.25 cup olive oil
  • 0.25 cup pickle juice
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon grill seasoning
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups shredded American cheese
Instructions:
  • In a large bowl, toss together crisp lettuce, ripe tomato, zesty onion, and crunchy pickle slices to create a vibrant salad. Set aside.
  • In a large skillet, melt butter until sizzling, then toast bread cubes until golden, about 2 to 3 minutes.
  • In a lidded jar, combine olive oil, pickle juice, mustard, ketchup, and grill seasoning. Shake vigorously until well mixed. Let it sit for later.
  • Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season ground beef with grill seasoning, then add it to the hot skillet. Cook until browned and crumbly, about 5-7 minutes. Remove excess grease. Stir in cheese until melted.
  • Before serving, delicately coat the salad with the dressing. Plate the salad and generously layer the ground beef mixture and croutons on top.
