Delicious blackberry tartlets with lemon-infused blackberries in buttery tart shells topped with a sweet sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 12 (3 inch) unbaked tart shells
  • 1 cup fresh blackberries, rinsed and patted dry
  • 1 lemon, zested
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar
  • 0.33333334326744 cup honey
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and gracefully place the tart shells on a baking sheet.
  • Gently combine blackberries and lemon zest in a small bowl, then distribute evenly into tart shells.
  • Combine brown sugar, honey, egg, melted butter, vanilla, and salt in a bowl and mix until smooth. Pour the mixture evenly over the blackberries.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 22 to 27 minutes, or until the filling is bubbly and the shells are golden. Adjust baking time to achieve your desired level of gooeyness in your butter tarts.
