Create a refreshing summer dessert by layering fresh berries with sweet whipped cream in parfait glasses.
Ingredients:
  • 4 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar, divided
  • 0.5 cup sour cream, at room temperature
  • 0.125 teaspoon almond extract
  • 2 pints fresh blackberries
  • 8 strips of lemon zest, for garnish
  • 8 sprigs fresh mint
Instructions:
  • In a large bowl, combine heavy cream, half of the confectioners' sugar, and almond extract. Whip until stiff peaks form. Gently fold in sour cream and refrigerate.
  • In a separate bowl, gently mix the blackberries with the rest of the confectioners' sugar. Allow them to sit at room temperature for approximately 15 minutes.
  • Prepare 8 exquisite parfait glasses by elegantly layering luscious whipped cream and plump blackberries, starting and finishing with the heavenly whipped cream. Beautify each parfait with a delicate touch of lemon zest, a handful of fresh blackberries, and a sprig of fragrant mint.
