Ingredients:
  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons dry ranch dressing mix (such as Hidden Valley Ranch®)
  • 1 pinch fresh cracked black pepper
Instructions:
  • Warm the oil in a cast iron skillet over medium heat. Massage 1 tablespoon of dry ranch dressing, salt, and freshly cracked pepper onto one side of the chicken thighs. Flip the thighs and repeat on the other side.
  • Sear chicken thighs, skin-side down, in hot oil over medium heat for 12 minutes until skin is nicely charred. Flip chicken and continue cooking for another 12 minutes until fully cooked, with clear juices and a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
