Quick and easy blackened tuna dish with only 4 ingredients, ready in just 20 minutes for a delicious dinner!
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 pounds fresh tuna steaks, 1 inch thick
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions:
  • Cover tuna steaks thoroughly on both sides with a generous amount of Cajun seasoning.
  • In a large skillet, heat oil and butter over high heat until sizzling hot.
  • Place the tuna steaks in a hot skillet and sear until a flavorful char forms on one side, approximately 3 to 4 minutes. Flip the steaks and continue cooking to your preferred doneness, usually 3 to 4 minutes more. To ensure a perfect medium-rare tuna, use an instant-read thermometer and look for a reading of 140°F (60°C) in the center.
