Elevate french fries with creamy blue cheese sauce and crispy bacon for a delicious crowd-pleasing appetizer or snack. Perfect for entertaining!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (28 ounce) package frozen French fries (such as Ore Ida®)
  • 3 slices bacon, sliced into 1/4-inch pieces
  • 0.25 cup minced scallions
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 0.5 cup blue cheese crumbles
  • 2 tablespoons half-and-half
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C) and arrange French fries in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  • Bake in the oven, preheated to perfection, until beautifully golden and crispy, for 24 to 34 minutes.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, crisp up the bacon until beautifully browned, stirring occasionally, for about 10 minutes. Place the cooked bacon on paper towels to drain, leaving some bacon grease in the skillet. Cut the bacon into 1/4-inch strips.
  • Combine butter with the bacon grease in a skillet over medium heat. Add scallions and garlic, cook until scallions are soft and starting to brown, about 5 minutes. Add blue cheese and stir until melted, approximately 2-3 minutes. Pour in half-and-half, continue stirring until the sauce is smooth, another 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to sit for 2 minutes before serving.
  • Place the fries on a plate and generously drizzle them with sauce, then top them off with crispy bacon strips.
