Make a delicious and refreshing blueberry granita by blending blueberries with sugar, water, and fresh lemon juice.
Ingredients:
  • 2.5 cups blueberries
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 0.75 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
Instructions:
  • Process blueberries and sugar until velvety smooth. Sieve the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer, using a wooden spoon to extract the pure blueberry essence, leaving behind any skins or seeds.
  • Combine blueberry purée with water and lemon juice in a shallow glass baking dish. Freeze, stirring with a fork every hour for 4 hours until evenly frozen. Fluff up the ice crystals, then spoon into chilled glasses to serve.
