Make irresistible blueberry muffins with juicy fresh blueberries using this easy recipe.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 1.25 cups white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 0.25 cup milk
  • 2.5 cups fresh blueberries
  • 0.25 cup white sugar
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare muffin pans by greasing and flouring them or using paper liners.
  • In a spacious bowl, beat together butter and 1 1/4 cup sugar until it becomes light and fluffy. Gradually add eggs one at a time, ensuring each is fully mixed in before adding the next.
  • Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Gradually add the flour mixture and milk to the batter, alternating between the two. Mash 1/2 cup of berries and mix into the batter. Gently fold in the remaining berries.
  • Spoon batter into muffin cups and generously sprinkle with the remaining 1/4 cup of sugar. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 30 minutes. Allow to cool for 20 minutes before removing from pans.
