Ingredients:
  • 2 to 4 quarts water
  • 2 live lobsters (about 1 lb each)
  • Butter or margarine, melted, if desired
  • Lemon wedges, if desired
Instructions:
  • Fill a 6-quart Dutch oven or stockpot one-third full of water and bring to a boil. Gently place the lobsters headfirst into the water, cover, and bring back to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 to 12 minutes until the lobsters turn bright red. Drain and serve.
  • Remove meat as instructed then serve with butter and lemon wedges.
