Whip up rich and flavorful bone broth with beef bones and veggies cooked low and slow.
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
  • 2 pounds beef bones
  • 6 cups cool water, or as needed
  • 2 onions, thickly sliced
  • 2 carrots
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and generously grease a roasting pan with cooking spray.
  • Coat beef bones with flavorful tomato paste before placing them in the roasting pan.
  • Bake in the oven until the bones start to brown, for approximately 30 minutes.
  • Place the bones into a slow cooker and pour in water until they are fully submerged. Add onions, carrots, garlic, and bay leaves to enhance the broth.
  • Simmer gently for a minimum of 24 hours.
  • Pour broth through a fine-mesh strainer into a container, then chill in the refrigerator.
