Festive yeast bread with a touch of spice, perfect for holiday feasts, made effortlessly in a bread machine.
Ingredients:
  • 3 cups bread flour
  • 2.25 teaspoons bread machine yeast
  • 0.25 cup white sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1.25 teaspoons salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 0.75 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 0.5 cup water
  • 1.5 teaspoons brandy
Instructions:
  • In the bread machine, layer flour, yeast, sugar, pumpkin pie spice, salt, butter, pumpkin puree, water, and brandy following the machine's instructions.
  • Choose the Sweet or Basic/White cycle with the Light crust setting and begin the machine. If making the bread without a bread machine, refer to Editor's Note.
  • Once the bread finishes baking, take it out of the pan and let it cool on a wire rack.
