Fun and easy homemade bread you can make with kids. Mix ingredients in a bag, knead lightly, and bake for a delicious treat!
Ingredients:
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour, divided
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 3 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 (.25 ounce) package rapid rise yeast
  • 3 tablespoons non-fat dry milk
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt
Instructions:
  • Prepare a well-oiled 8x4-inch loaf pan and keep it aside.
  • In a large resealable freezer bag, mix 1 cup of flour with warm water, sugar, and yeast. Push out most of the air, seal the bag, and knead the dough by squeezing the bag until well combined. Allow the dough to rest at room temperature until bubbles form, approximately 10 minutes.
  • Combine 1 cup flour, dry milk, oil, and salt in a bowl until mixed. Transfer mixture to a resealable bag, remove excess air, seal, and knead to blend. Add the remaining 1 cup of flour to the bag, continue kneading until fully mixed.
  • Place dough on floured surface, knead for 5-8 minutes, shape into loaf, and put in loaf pan. Cover with a towel and let rise for about 30 minutes, or until your finger leaves an impression when gently pressed on top.
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • Bake until beautifully golden for 35 minutes in the preheated oven.
