Indulgent bread pudding with a heavenly aroma and delicious taste.
Ingredients:
  • 6 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1.5 cups white sugar
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 0.5 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 (1 pound) loaf bread, cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 0.5 cup golden raisins
  • 0.75 cup butter
  • 0.75 cup corn syrup
  • 0.5 cup whiskey
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a cozy 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).
  • Combine eggs and sugar in a medium bowl and whisk until smooth. Add milk, heavy cream, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Whisk until fully combined and smooth.
  • Place bread cubes in a baking dish, scatter golden raisins on top, and cover with the whipped mixture, ensuring the bread is fully soaked.
  • Place in the preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes, or until lightly browned.
  • In a medium saucepan over low heat, blend sugar, butter, and corn syrup until smooth. Remove from heat, then whisk in the whiskey. Drizzle the warm sauce over the bread pudding before serving.
