Broccoli and bacon pasta bake

Get the kids involved in making this delicious and easy weekday dinner.
Ingredients:
  • 300g pasta shells
  • 9.20 gm olive oil
  • 4 short cut bacon rashers, chopped
  • 350g broccoli
  • 150g pea
  • 250ml cream
  • 2 eggs
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180°C. Cook the pasta as instructed on the packet, then drain and return it to the pan.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Cook bacon and onion until soft and lightly browned.
  • Simply break the broccoli into small florets, steam or microwave until tender with the peas, and whisk the cream and eggs together using a fork in a jug.
  • Combine delicious bacon, savory onion, tender broccoli, sweet peas, and creamy goodness with 1 cup (80g) of sharp cheddar into the pasta mixture. Gently stir everything together until well combined. Transfer the mixture into an 8 cup (2 litre) ovenproof dish. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar on top for a cheesy finish. Bake until beautifully golden.
