Simple and affordable Broccoli and Cauliflower Pasta Bake only requires six ingredients.
Ingredients:
  • 300g penne rigate
  • 250g broccoli, cut into small florets
  • 250g cauliflower, cut into small florets
  • 100g shaved ham, roughly chopped
  • 575g jar four-cheese pasta bake sauce
  • 250.00 ml grated tasty cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 200°C (180°C fan-forced) and lightly grease an 8 cup-capacity oven-proof dish.
  • Boil pasta in a large pot of salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain the cooked pasta.
  • Place broccoli and cauliflower in a microwave-safe bowl, drizzle with 2 tablespoons of cold water, cover, and microwave on high for 3 minutes until broccoli is vibrant green and tender. Drain and cool under cold water.
  • In a bowl, mix pasta, broccoli, cauliflower, and ham together. Pour in pasta sauce and stir well. Transfer mixture into a prepared dish. Top with cheese and bake until golden, about 25 to 30 minutes.
