Simplify and make it more appealing: Creamy chicken and broccoli casserole with cheesy sauce and crisp breadcrumbs topping.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound chopped fresh broccoli
  • 1.5 cups cubed, cooked chicken meat
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of broccoli soup
  • 0.33333334326744 cup milk
  • 0.5 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons dried bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
  • In a saucepan, submerge broccoli in water and bring to a boil. Cook until tender, approximately 5 minutes, then drain.
  • Spread the cooked broccoli evenly in a 9-inch pie plate, then layer the chicken on top. In a bowl, combine soup and milk, then pour over the chicken. Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese, followed by melted butter mixed with bread crumbs.
  • Bake until the casserole is bubbly and the top is golden brown, for about 15 minutes in the preheated oven.
