Spiced brown rice and raisin pudding, warm and comforting dessert.
Ingredients:
  • 1.75 cups cooked brown rice
  • 1.25 cups milk
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.66666668653488 cup golden raisins
  • 0.5 tablespoon butter
  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Instructions:
  • Combine brown rice, 1 1/4 cup milk, sugar, and salt in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook until thick and creamy, about 15 to 20 minutes. Reduce heat to medium-low.
  • Combine 1 cup of milk, egg, cinnamon, and raisins into the rice mixture. Stir continuously until it reaches your preferred thickness, around 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Take the mixture off the heat and blend in the butter and vanilla extract.
  • Transfer the freshly made pudding into a beautiful serving dish and delicately sprinkle with fragrant nutmeg. Let it cool down to room temperature for around 20 minutes before indulging in its creamy perfection.
