"Pork tenderloin glazed with brown sugar, soy, and balsamic for a sweet and savory burst of flavor."
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup water
  • 0.25 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1.5 teaspoons ground sage
  • 0.25 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 (1 1/2 pound) pork tenderloins
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil, or as needed
Instructions:
  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, simmer brown sugar, water, balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, and cornstarch until thickened, stirring constantly, for 4 to 6 minutes. Set aside once thickened.
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease a 9x13-inch baking sheet.
  • Mix together fresh garlic, fragrant sage, a pinch of salt, and a sprinkle of black pepper in a small bowl. Massage the flavorful garlic mixture onto the pork tenderloins.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, warm the oil. Place the tenderloins in the skillet and sear them until evenly browned, about 2 to 3 minutes on each side. Move the pork to the baking sheet and generously brush with the flavorful balsamic glaze.
  • Roast in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Flip pork, baste with more glaze, and bake until pork is slightly pink in the middle, approximately 20 more minutes, or to your preferred doneness. A meat thermometer should register at least 145 degrees F (63 degrees C) when inserted into the center.
  • Transfer the tenderloin to a platter and let it rest for 10 minutes. Drizzle a bit more glaze on top, carve, and serve with extra glaze on the side.
