Bacon-wrapped hot dogs broiled to crisp perfection, drizzled with a sweet buttery brown sugar sauce.
Ingredients:
- 1 (16 ounce) package hot dogs, cut in quarters crosswise
- 1 pound bacon, cut in quarters crosswise
- 0.5 cup butter
- 0.5 cup brown sugar
Instructions:
- Preheat the broiler and position the rack 6 inches below the heat source in the oven.
- Wrap juicy hot dog slices in crispy bacon strips and secure them with toothpicks before elegantly arranging them on a baking sheet.
- Broil the hot dog pieces until the bacon is golden and crisp, flipping occasionally, for about 3 to 5 minutes per side. Serve on a platter.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter and stir in brown sugar over medium heat until the sugar dissolves and the mixture comes to a boil. Drizzle the brown sugar sauce over hot dog pieces and serve.
