Try our irresistible Browned Butter Pecan Pie made with Pillsbury™ pie crust for a quick and easy dessert. Just 30 minutes prep time for a golden and delicious treat. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup butter (do not use margarine)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste or vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 crust from 1 box (14.1 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Pie Crusts (2 Count), softened as directed on box
  • 1 1/4 cups pecan halves
Instructions:
  • In a 2-quart saucepan over medium heat, melt butter, stirring frequently, for 2 to 5 minutes until butter browns and browned bits form. Stir in sugar and corn syrup, then cook over low heat for 15 to 18 minutes until sugar dissolves, stirring frequently. Cool for 1 hour, then mix in vanilla bean paste, salt, and eggs with a wire whisk until well blended.
  • Preheat oven to 325°F. Follow instructions on the pie crust box to place it in a 9-inch glass pie plate. Fill the crust with the prepared filling. Arrange pecan halves in neat concentric circles on top of the filling. Use a fork to gently press pecans into the filling to glaze them, ensuring they maintain a circular pattern.
  • Bake for 50 to 55 minutes until the filling is firm and the crust turns a beautiful golden brown. To prevent the crust from browning too much, carefully cover the edges with foil after 40 minutes. Allow the pie to cool completely on a rack for 3 to 4 hours before cutting into it.
