Buffalo ranch jar salad with blue cheese, celery, and carrots - a flavorful twist on classic wings in a jar!
Ingredients:
  • 10 ounces cucumber ranch salad dressing
  • 2 tablespoons Buffalo-style hot pepper sauce (such as Frank's® RedHot)
  • 4 stalks celery, cut into 1/8-inch slices
  • 4 medium carrots, cut into 1/8-inch slices
  • 15 ounces cooked chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 10 cups salad greens
  • 1.25 cups crumbled blue cheese
  • 0.75 cup croutons
Instructions:
  • In a small bowl, mix together ranch dressing and hot sauce. Divide the dressing evenly among 5 wide-mouthed, quart-sized glass canning jars to create the first layer. Layer equal portions of celery and carrots on top to form the next two layers.
  • Layer each jar with generous 3 ounces of savory chicken, followed by a generous 2 cups of crisp salad greens. Sprinkle a delightful 1/4 cup of tangy blue cheese on top. Seal jars and chill in the refrigerator until enjoying.
  • Distribute croutons evenly into 5 small containers with lids. When ready to enjoy, pour the contents of the jar along with the croutons into a bowl and toss together.
