Easy summer bumbleberry crumble highlighting mixed berries and fruit medley.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • 0.75 cup butter
  • 5.5 cups mixed frozen berries
  • 1.5 cups white sugar
  • 0.25 cup all-purpose flour
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) for the perfect bake.
  • Combine flour and sugar in a food processor until mixed. Add butter and pulse until mixture looks like coarse bread crumbs. Mix in egg until pastry is thoroughly blended.
  • Evenly press half of the pastry mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan, applying firm pressure. Set aside the remaining pastry mixture to sprinkle on top later.
  • Combine the berries, sugar, and flour in a bowl until thoroughly mixed. Spread the filling onto the bottom crust, then sprinkle the reserved pastry mixture on top.
  • After baking in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, lower the temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and continue baking until the top turns golden brown, for an additional 45 to 50 minutes.
