Irresistible gourmet burger loaded with all the fixings - a guaranteed family favorite!
Ingredients:
  • 750g beef mince
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 24.40 gm Worcestershire sauce
  • 41.60 gm tomato sauce
  • 20.00 ml chopped fresh parsley
  • 250.00 ml fresh breadcrumbs
  • Baby cos lettuce leaves, to serve
  • Tomato sauce, to serve
  • Mustard, to serve
  • Pickles, to serve
  • Onion marmalade*, to serve
  • Mayonnaise, to serve
  • 18.20 gm olive oil, to brush
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1 roasted red capsicum*, cut into strips
Instructions:
  • In a bowl, combine beef, onion, garlic, sauces, parsley, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, and pepper using your hands. Form the mixture into 4 thick patties and refrigerate for 30 minutes before cooking.
  • Prep the lettuce by separating, washing, and patting dry. Arrange in a glass. Serve tomato sauce, mustard, pickles, onion marmalade, and mayonnaise in individual dishes. Preheat oven to 120°C.
  • Preheat a chargrill pan or barbecue to high heat. Brush the patties with oil and grill them for 3 minutes on each side until they are fully cooked. Add a slice of cheese on top of each patty during the last minute of cooking.
  • While the patties are cooking, warm the buns in the oven. Once done, assemble by placing a patty on each bun, add capsicum, and serve with your favorite condiments.
