Quick and easy butter biscuits made with just 3 ingredients: butter, milk, and Bisquick™ mix. Ready in under 20 minutes, these flaky biscuits are perfect for any meal. No kneading required for simple drop biscuits.
Ingredients:
  • 1/3 cup butter or margarine (firm)
  • 2 1/2 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • Butter or margarine, melted
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 450°F.
  • Cut the firm butter into 1/4-inch pieces. Mix the Bisquick with the butter pieces using a fork until coated. Pour in the milk and stir gently until it is absorbed without overmixing.
  • On a lightly dusted surface with Bisquick mix, gently knead the dough 5 times. Flatten it to 1/2-inch thickness and cut out circles using a 3-inch cutter. Arrange the cutouts on a baking sheet, placing them with sides touching for soft edges, or 2 inches apart for a crispier texture.
  • Bake for approximately 9 minutes or until golden brown, then brush with melted butter for a rich, flavorful finish.
