Indulgent and easy creamy butter pecan fudge, a classic candy perfect for gifting.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
Instructions:
  • Grease an 8-inch square baking pan with butter.
  • In a saucepan, melt butter with brown sugar, white sugar, and salt. Pour in cream and bring to a boil, stirring until everything is melted and sugar is dissolved. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Take the saucepan off the heat and incorporate the fragrant vanilla extract. Blend in confectioners' sugar until silky. Gently mix pecans into the fudge mixture.
  • Pour the luscious fudge into the prepared pan and allow it to cool until perfectly firm, which should take approximately 1 to 2 hours. Cut the irresistible fudge into delectable 1-inch squares.
