Indulgent fudge with candied pecans and buttery caramel, tasting like praline candy.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups packed brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon bourbon
  • 1 cup chopped candied pecans
Instructions:
  • Prepare your 8-inch square pan by generously spraying it with cooking spray. In a 3-quart saucepan, combine brown sugar, 3/4 cup of butter, and milk over medium heat. Stir continuously for about 2 minutes until the butter is melted and the sugar is fully dissolved. Bring the mixture to a vigorous boil and continue to boil while stirring for 1 minute. Remove the saucepan from the heat.
  • Combine powdered sugar and bourbon, then beat with an electric mixer on low speed for 1 minute. Increase the speed to medium and beat for 10 minutes, or until the mixture starts to hold its shape and feels warm. Stir in the pecans swiftly.
  • Spread the mixture evenly in a pan. Chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours or until set. Cut into 64 squares. Keep stored in an airtight container at room temperature.
