Decadent fudge bars with oats, condensed milk, butter, pecans, and chocolate chips - a chocolate lover's dream!
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups light brown sugar
  • 0.75 cup butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2.5 cups baking mix
  • 3 cups quick cooking oats
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and prepare a 9x13 inch pan by greasing and flouring it. In a large bowl, mix the brown sugar, 3/4 cup of margarine, eggs, and 2 teaspoons of vanilla until well combined. Stir in the baking mix and oats, then set the mixture aside.
  • In a saucepan over low heat, melt the chocolate chips, condensed milk, 2 tablespoons margarine or butter, and salt, stirring constantly until smooth. Remove from heat and gently mix in pecans and 2 tablespoons vanilla.
  • Spread most of the oatmeal mixture evenly at the bottom of the pan. Pour chocolate mixture evenly over it, then drop spoonfuls of the remaining oatmeal mixture on top. Bake for 30 minutes, then cool completely before cutting into bars.
