Indulge in decadent butterscotch-pecan fudge for a delightful dessert!
Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 cups packed dark brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 can (5 oz) evaporated milk
  • 1 jar (7 oz) marshmallow creme
  • 1 bag (11 oz) butterscotch chips
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
Instructions:
  • Butter the bottom and sides of an 8-inch square pan. In a 3-quart heavy saucepan, melt 1/2 cup of butter with brown sugar and milk over medium heat, stirring constantly until the butter is melted.
  • Mix in the velvety marshmallow creme. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat and continue boiling for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it reaches 234°F on a candy thermometer or forms a soft ball that flattens in very cold water. Remove from heat, add the luscious butterscotch chips, and stir until silky. Fold in the crunchy pecans.
  • Spread the mixture evenly in the pan. Allow it to set for 2 hours or until it becomes firm. Cut the set mixture into 6 rows by 8 rows.
