Indulge in a delightful coffee-chocolate liqueur treat with this quick and easy recipe.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tsp instant coffee granules
  • 10.00 gm hot water
  • 1L vanilla ice-cream (Sara Lee brand), softened slightly
  • 250ml (1 cup) milk
  • 80ml (1/3 cup) coffee liqueur
  • 160ml (2/3 cup) chocolate topping (Cadbury brand)
  • 160ml (2/3 cup) coffee liqueur, extra
  • 4 chocolate creme wafers (Arnott's brand), to decorate
  • 4 vanilla creme wafers (Arnott's brand), to decorate
Instructions:
  • Mix the coffee and water in a small bowl until the coffee dissolves. Blend the coffee mixture with ice cream, milk, and coffee liqueur in a blender until smooth.
  • Drizzle the chocolate topping inside four 375ml (1 1/2-cup) serving glasses, then evenly pour the extra coffee liqueur in each glass. Top with the ice-cream mixture and serve promptly with the creme wafers.
