Cake Mix Birthday Cake Pancakes

Start the birthday celebration with decadent cake mix pancakes topped with colorful candy sprinkles for breakfast.
Ingredients:
  • 0.33 cup butter, melted and cooled
  • 0.67 cup milk
  • 1 (15.25 ounce) package cake mix with candy bits (such as Pillsbury® Funfetti®)
  • 0.5 cup whipped cream, or to taste
  • 2 teaspoons multicolored candy sprinkles, or to taste
Instructions:
  • Combine melted butter, milk, and eggs in a large bowl, then gently whisk in cupcake mix until just moistened. Don't worry about any lumps!
  • Preheat a lightly oiled griddle over medium-high heat. Spoon batter onto the griddle, cook until bubbles form and edges are dry (about 3-4 minutes), flip and cook until browned on the other side (about 2-3 minutes). Repeat with remaining batter.
  • Top with a dollop of whipped cream and a colorful sprinkle of sprinkles, if desired.
