Achieve delicious veggie calzones in only 35 minutes using Pillsbury™ pizza crust.
Ingredients:
  • 1 can (11 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Thin Crust Pizza Crust
  • 3/4 cup pizza sauce
  • 3/4 cup sliced frozen (thawed) Italian-style soy-protein sausage links
  • 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
  • 1 1/3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 teaspoons finely shredded Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F. Place the dough on an ungreased large dark or nonstick cookie sheet. Gently press out the dough from the center into a 14x10-inch rectangle, then cut it into 4 (7x5-inch) rectangles.
  • Spread a generous tablespoon of the flavorful pizza sauce over one side of each rectangle, leaving a small border. Add a generous portion of sausage, bell pepper, onion, and gooey mozzarella cheese on top. Fold the dough over the toppings and firmly press the edges together with a fork to seal in all the delicious flavors. Vent the tops by pricking them with a fork, then add a sprinkle of savory Parmesan cheese for the perfect finishing touch.
  • Bake until beautifully golden brown, serve calzones with a generous 1/2 cup of pizza sauce on the side for dipping.
