Decadent chocolate fudge with surprise candy bar center. Personalize with your favorite candy bars.
Ingredients:
  • 6 (2.07 ounce) candy bars
  • 2 teaspoons butter for greasing, or as needed
  • 3 cups white sugar
  • 0.75 cup butter
  • 0.66666668653488 cup evaporated milk
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 (7 ounce) jar marshmallow creme
Instructions:
  • Chill candy bars in the freezer for 10 minutes until firm, then slice into 1/2 to 3/4-inch thick pieces.
  • Prepare a 9-inch square baking dish by lining it with aluminum foil and greasing it generously with butter.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar, 3/4 cup butter, and evaporated milk. Stir to melt butter and dissolve sugar. Bring to a boil and cook, stirring constantly, until a candy thermometer inserted into the middle of the syrup reads 234 degrees F (110 degrees C), about 3 to 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips until melted and smooth. Mix in marshmallow cream and vanilla extract until a smooth fudge forms.
  • Spread a luscious layer of half the fudge in the dish, sprinkle with tantalizing candy bar pieces, then generously pour the remaining fudge over the bars. Allow to cool to room temperature before cutting into delightful squares.
