Candy Bar Pie II

Indulgent pie with candy bar, cream cheese, sour cream, and peanut butter filling, topped with luscious chocolate cream.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (9 inch) pie crust, baked
  • 5 (2.16 ounce) bars chocolate-coated caramel-peanut nougat candy
  • 4 (3 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 0.33333334326744 cup sour cream
  • 0.33333334326744 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 3 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
  • 0.66666668653488 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Slice candy bars in half lengthwise, then chop into 1/4 inch pieces. Arrange candy pieces evenly over the base of the pie crust.
  • In a small bowl, mix sugar and cream cheese until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, beating well. Mix in sour cream and peanut butter until smooth. Pour over candy pieces.
  • Bake at 325 degrees F (165 degrees C) for 30-40 minutes until golden brown.
  • Heat the whipping cream in a small saucepan until very warm. Take it off the heat and stir in the chocolate chips until smooth. Spread the mixture over the top of the pie and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours before serving.
