Delicious Easter treat perfect for sharing on social media.
Ingredients:
  • 20.00 gm boiling water
  • 3.00 gm gelatine powder
  • 250g cream cheese, softened
  • 125ml thickened cream
  • 40.00 gm caster sugar
  • 100g white chocolate, melted
  • 100g hollow chocolate Easter egg, halved horizontally
  • 40.00 ml dulce de leche
  • Thickened cream, whipped, to serve
  • Caramel popcorn, to decorate
  • Salted caramel macarons, to decorate
  • Mini vanilla wafers, to decorate
  • Salted caramel topping, to serve
Instructions:
  • Pour boiling water into a heatproof glass or jug. Sprinkle in the gelatine and stir until completely dissolved.
  • Combine cream cheese, cream, and sugar in a food processor and blend until smooth. Then incorporate the white chocolate and gelatine mixture until smooth. Finally, swirl in 2 tablespoons of dulce de leche gently using a spoon to create a marbled effect.
  • Carefully place the Easter egg halves on top of a muffin tray to stabilize them. Fill each egg half with the cream cheese mixture evenly. Chill in the fridge for 2 hours or until firm.
  • To serve, garnish the Easter egg halves with a dollop of whipped cream, popcorn, macarons, and vanilla wafers. Finish with a generous drizzle of caramel topping.
