Cozy winter pie with gooey caramel and crunchy pecans.
Ingredients:
  • 1 x 220g pkt frozen Sweet Flan Case
  • 1 x 395g can sweetened condensed milk
  • 4.40 gm vanilla extract
  • 100g pecans, coarsely chopped
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 170°C and place the flan case on a baking tray.
  • Combine the condensed milk, sugar, eggs, and vanilla in a bowl and whisk until smooth.
  • Sprinkle the pecans evenly over the pastry case, then pour in the egg mixture. Bake for 30-35 minutes, covering with foil if needed to prevent overbrowning, until the filling is golden and set. Let it sit for 10 minutes until firm. Serve either warm or at room temperature.
