Simple weeknight dessert, best served warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup caramel topping
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 6 large baking apples, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch slices
  • 0.66666668653488 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup packed brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup cold butter, cut into small pieces
  • 0.66666668653488 cup quick cooking oats
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Combine the caramel topping and cinnamon in a bowl, then mix in the apples until they are evenly coated. Spread the apple mixture into an 8-inch square baking dish.
  • Combine flour and brown sugar in the bowl where the apples were mixed. Use a knife or pastry blender to cut in the butter until the mixture is crumbly. Add oats and sprinkle the mixture over the apples.
  • Cook in the oven until the apples are soft and the topping turns golden brown, about 45 to 50 minutes.
