Caramel-Fudge Turtle Cookies

Elevate sugar cookies with melted caramels, rich fudge, and crunchy pecans for a decadent turtle treat.
Ingredients:
  • Reynolds™ Parchment Paper
  • Butter and egg called for on cookie mix pouch
  • 2 tablespoons Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 12 caramels, unwrapped
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 cup hot fudge topping
  • 36 Pecan halves
Instructions:
  • Prepare the cookie dough following the package instructions, then mix in the flour. Shape the dough into 1-inch balls and space them 2 inches apart on cookie sheets lined with Reynolds Parchment Paper. Bake at 375°F for 11 to 12 minutes until firm. Let them cool for 1 minute before transferring the cookies to a cooling rack.
  • Microwave caramels and milk on High, stirring once, for 1-1.5 minutes until melted. Dip cookies at an angle into caramel to coat top half, spreading if needed. If caramel thickens, stir in up to 1 teaspoon of milk and reheat if necessary.
  • Spread a generous teaspoon of luscious fudge topping on each cookie, then crown it with a perfect pecan half. Allow the masterpiece to rest for about 15 minutes until the toppings reach a delightful set.
