Ingredients:
  • 36.40 gm extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 large brown onions, halved, thinly sliced
  • 59.40 gm brown sugar
  • 62.50 ml red wine vinegar
  • 2 tsp fresh thyme leaves
Instructions:
  • In a large frying pan over medium-low heat, heat oil. Add onion and cook, stirring occasionally, until softened but not browned, about 15 minutes.
  • Simply combine sugar, vinegar, and thyme in a pot. Cook until thickened and caramelized, stirring occasionally for 10 to 15 minutes. Allow it to cool completely before serving.
