Indulge in irresistible Caramilk and condensed milk churros, a decadent sweet delight.
Ingredients:
  • 50g unsalted butter, melted
  • 40.00 gm caster sugar
  • 4.40 gm vanilla extract
  • 190g (1 1/4 cups) plain flour
  • 2 eggs
  • Icing sugar, to dust
  • 180g packet Caramilk chocolate, chopped
  • 60ml (1/4 cup) sweetened condensed milk
Instructions:
  • In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of water with butter, sugar, vanilla, and a generous pinch of salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring, for 3 minutes or until the butter has melted.
  • Stir the flour into the mixture using a wooden spoon until a smooth ball forms, then allow it to cool briefly.
  • - Pour the mixture into a large bowl. - Beat in the eggs one at a time using electric beaters until well incorporated. - Transfer the mixture to a piping bag fitted with a 2.5cm fluted nozzle.
  • Preheat the churros maker, then pipe the batter into the moulds. Close and cook for 5 minutes, or until the churros are cooked through. Transfer to a platter and repeat with the remaining mixture.
  • Create the Caramilk dipping sauce by melting Caramilk, condensed milk, and 2 tablespoons of water in a heatproof bowl over simmering water (ensuring no water contact). Stir with a metal spoon until smooth, then transfer to a serving dish.
  • Place the churros elegantly on a serving platter, sprinkle with a touch of icing sugar, and serve alongside the delightful dipping sauce.
