Cauliflower and blue cheese gratin

Blue cheese infused side dish.
Ingredients:
  • 1 small head cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 30g butter
  • 20.00 ml white plain flour
  • 257.50 gm milk
  • 150g soft blue cheese, chopped
Instructions:
  • Cook the cauliflower in steam or microwave for 5-8 minutes until it is tender. Then, drain and place it in a small baking dish.
  • Preheat grill on high heat.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Stir in flour to create a roux. Slowly pour in milk, stirring continuously. Let it simmer for 5 minutes until thickened. Add cheese and stir until melted and sauce is smooth. Pour over cauliflower and grill until golden, about 5-8 minutes.
