Picnic-perfect cavatappi pasta salad with tuna and olives, served chilled or at room temp.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (16 ounce) package cavatappi pasta
  • 2 cups mayonnaise
  • 2 (11 ounce) cans albacore tuna, drained
  • 1 (6 ounce) can sliced black olives
  • 4 stalks celery, chopped
  • 0.5 medium white onion, chopped
  • kosher salt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • 1. Boil a large pot of lightly salted water. Add cavatappi and cook for 9 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until al dente. Drain the pasta and rinse under cold water to cool. Transfer to a large bowl.
  • Combine mayonnaise, tuna, olives, celery, onion, salt, and pepper with the pasta; mix well. Serve right away or refrigerate until serving.
