Try this mouthwatering Chinese glazed roast pork for a flavorful change to your weekly meals.
Ingredients:
  • 80ml char sui sauce
  • 40.00 ml sriracha chilli sauce
  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 2 tsp freshly grated ginger
  • 2.3kg Pork Forequarter Boneless Roast
  • Steamed jasmine rice, to serve
  • Steamed Chinese broccoli, to serve
  • Coriander sprigs, to serve
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 200C. In a jug, mix char siu sauce, chili sauce, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and 2 tablespoons of water. Place the pork in a large ceramic or glass dish and pour two-thirds of the sauce over it, coating the meat evenly.
  • Take the pork and put it in a roasting pan with 1 cup (250ml) of water. Cover and roast for 2 hours until fully cooked. Uncover, brush with sauce, and continue baking for 20 minutes until nicely browned. Let it rest covered with foil for 15 minutes, then slice thickly.
  • Plate the pork accompanied by fluffy rice, vibrant Chinese broccoli, and fresh coriander for a visually stunning and delicious meal.
