Grilled mangoes - a sweet finish or morning delight.
Ingredients:
  • 4 mangoes
  • 36.00 gm white sugar
  • 250.00 ml Greek-style natural yoghurt
  • 57.20 gm honey
  • pinch ground cardamom
Instructions:
  • Preheat a chargrill or barbecue plate on medium-high heat. Using a sharp knife, cut mango cheeks and sprinkle them with sugar. Grill sugar-side down for 5 minutes until lightly charred.
  • Combine yoghurt, 1 tablespoon of honey, and cardamom in a bowl, mixing thoroughly.
  • On serving plates, arrange the chargrilled mangoes. Top them with a spoonful of yogurt and drizzle the remaining honey over them. Serve immediately.
