Cheese and chive biscuits

Make savory cheddar and chive biscuits for a flavor-packed treat.
Ingredients:
  • 150g butter, at room temperature
  • 375.00 ml flour
  • 250.00 ml grated tasty cheese
  • 1 bunch chives, snipped
Instructions:
  • Cream the butter in a large bowl using a wooden spoon until smooth and creamy. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix until just combined.
  • Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface. Knead until you form a smooth ball. Divide the dough into 2 pieces. Shape each piece into a 15cm log. Wrap each log in non-stick baking paper and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • 1. Preheat your oven to 180C (or 160C for fan-forced ovens) and line 2 baking trays with non-stick baking paper. 2. Slice each log into 20 pieces that are 8mm thick and arrange them on the trays. 3. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the slices are firm. 4. Allow the slices to cool on the trays before storing them in an airtight container.
