Create a delicious holiday snack by mixing Cheddar cheese, butter, flour, and salt. Roll out, cut into strips, and bake until crispy. Enjoy with your preferred sharpness of Cheddar.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup butter, softened
  • 4 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground red pepper
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and generously grease a cookie sheet.
  • Combine the butter and cheese in a large bowl until creamy. Add the flour and salt, mixing well. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut into 2-inch strips, sprinkle with ground red pepper, and place on a prepared cookie sheet, ensuring they are 1 1/2 inches apart.
  • Place in a hot oven for 10-15 minutes, or until golden and crunchy.
