Begin your meal with crispy cheese straws.
Ingredients:
  • 2 sheets frozen butter puff pastry, thawed
  • 100g pecorino
  • Nigella seeds or poppy seeds, to scatter
  • Sesame seeds, to scatter
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180C, then prepare a baking tray by lining it with baking paper.
  • Slice pastry into elegant 1cm strips and arrange on the lined tray. Gently glaze the pastry with egg wash, then generously sprinkle with cheese and seeds. Bake for 12-15 minutes until beautifully puffed and golden brown.
