20-minute Cheesy Beef Potato Chowder with Progresso® Potato Soup - quick, delicious dinner!
Ingredients:
  • 1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
  • 1 can (1 lb 2.5 oz) Progresso™ 99% Light creamy potato with bacon & cheese soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sharp process cheese spread with bacon (from 5-oz jar)
  • 1/4 cup shredded prepared cheese product (1 oz)
  • Chopped tomato, if desired
  • Sliced green onions, if desired
Instructions:
  • In a 2-quart saucepan, sauté the beef over medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes or until fully cooked, stirring occasionally. Remember to drain the excess fat.
  • Pour in the soup and milk, stirring until well combined. Bring the mixture to a boil, then lower the heat. Stir in the cheese spread, cooking and stirring until melted. Garnish each serving with shredded cheese, tomato, and onions.
