Create a zesty Mexican skillet pasta using Tortilla chips, salsa, and Hamburger Helper™ dinner mix for a quick and tasty meal!
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 1/2 cups hot water
  • 1 package Hamburger Helper™ cheeseburger macaroni
  • 5 cups slightly crushed tortilla chips
  • 1 1/4 cups salsa
  • 2/3 cup sour cream
  • Sliced ripe olives, if desired
  • Green onion, sliced, if desired
Instructions:
  • Brown the beef in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, then drain excess fat.
  • Combine hot water, milk, uncooked pasta, and the sauce mix from the Hamburger Helper box in a pot. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
  • Simmer with lid on for 12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender. Let sit uncovered to thicken sauce before serving.
  • Place a generous 1 cup of tortilla chips on 5 serving plates. Pour approximately 1 cup of the beef mixture over the chips on each plate. Add a topping of 1/4 cup salsa and around 2 tablespoons of sour cream to each plate. Finish by sprinkling olives and onions all over.
