Transform classic cheeseburger flavors into a speedy pasta delight.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups uncooked wagon wheel pasta (4 oz)
  • 1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
  • 1 large onion, sliced or chopped (1 cup)
  • 2 containers (8 oz each) process sharp Cheddar cheese spread
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 large tomato, chopped (1 cup)
  • 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (2 oz)
Instructions:
  • Prepare the pasta according to package instructions, then drain it.
  • In a 10-inch skillet, sizzle the beef and onion over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until the beef is fully cooked; then drain any excess liquid.
  • Lower the heat to medium. Combine cheese spread, milk, and garlic salt with the beef, stirring continuously until the cheese is melted and the mixture is smooth. Mix in the pasta and tomato. Top with Cheddar cheese, cover, and cook for 2 to 3 minutes until the cheese is melted.
